Albert Anastasia (born Umberto Anastasio; September 26, 1902 – October 25, was an Italian Gangster, and hitman for the American Mafia in New York.
It was here that Umberto worked as a longshoreman and changed his name to Albert Anastasia, in order to keep his family name from disgrace.
